Situated just outside the city walls next to the river Ouse, our Victorian built Bed and Breakfast in York is the perfect place to stop for your exploration of our historic city. With easy access on foot to the York City Centre and close to many classic local Pubs you will get a real feel for the place when you stay with us.

Our returning guests will tell you the atmosphere we provide is one of a home away from home. We like to think that what we like in a hotel or guest house is what we have here for you. Comfortable, friendly, good service, good local information and that certain je ne cest qua We are a totally non smoking establishment. We have ample parking available to staying guests in the car park just behind the establishment.

Good stuff: It was centrally located, very clean and tidy, friendly and great breakfast.

Overall: Lots of information had been emailed to me prior my stay, there was nothing missed. On arrival the owner was on hand to offer information on activities/places in the area. Fantastic.
