Our location is a super one within a short walk of the historic walls, York Minster, and the city centre. The walk to them actually goes in that order as well. It will take you about 10 minutes to walk down to the first stop at Bootham Bar of the York City Walls. From our front door you make a right turn onto Grosvenor Terrace. Walk about 350 yards to the crossroad and turn left onto Bootham. Walk up here about 400 yards and as you do Bootham Bar, the Northwest entrance to the city walls comes into view. Through there 20 yards or so and York Minster is in front of you. From here go right and then first left and you will walk strait into town. It is that easy.

Rooms here generally have a large very comfy bed for you to enjoy. The decor is in keeping with the age of the house with lovely draper all around. Yet the facilities are modernised and so you will be wanting for nothing here. We keep all of our rooms very clean indeed. In fact we like to think they are sparkling clean. If you find they are not we need to know and will sort it out for you quickly. Have high expectation in these rooms and you will not be disappointed.
