Choosing to stay here puts you in a great spot to see York easily and quickly on foot. It also puts you in a quiet residential street so you will get a good nights rest here. Everyone needs to rest up after exploring for sure. Tired weary limbs need to recuperate after a day out as there is so much to see.

Walking around in the city centre is the best way to see all the sights of York. Closest to us is Micklegate Bar. this is the Royal entrance of the city wall and it is 0.4 miles North of us which is about 10 minutes walk. Also we are near JORVIK Viking Centre, Coppergate which is 15 minutes walk to the Northeast of us. In a more Northerly direction the famous Shambles is about the sane distance away. We are within easy reach of many of them so staying here is a good choice.
