We offer the perfect hotel for business and leisure guests with all the charm and service you'd expect from the best b & b's and with a whole lot more! Since we bought and converted two Victorian town houses into the hotel in 1984, our family has continually developed and upgraded the facilities to provide the highest quality accommodation possible at a great price indeed.

Hedley House is situated in a beautiful, peaceful residential area of York, just 8 minutes to the city centre. We cater for both business and leisure visitors, with a range of facilities not normally offered in hotels of this size. Aside from the private residents' bar, we offer a range of home cooked evening meals using seasonal and local produce to complement the first class breakfast on offer. What's more we can also offer an extensive decked area in the garden which is ideal for barbecues, as well as a luxurious 6 person outdoor spa, again for the exclusive use of our residents.

All our 15 bedrooms are en suite - most with bath and separate shower - and come complete with colour TV and tea and coffee facilities. We can also offer 11 additional bedrooms in our annex, as well as self-contained apartments nearby.

For those who can't stand the thought of being away from their four-legged friends, we also offer one pet-friendly bedroom offering direct access to our private car park.

For business visitors, we can also offer a fully serviced meeting room with projection facilities capable of taking up to 18 people.
