Hedley House is found in an attractive, tranquil residential part of York. Just 6 minutes walk (0.3 miles) from York walls which surround the city centre. To emphasise this progressing to the city walls from here could not be much easier. Come out of the front door and turn left. Walk to the end of Bootham Terrace and turn right. Walk on a couple of hundred feet and you will see Bootham Bar, the North-West entrance to the walls, in front of you.

We cater for both business and leisure visitors, with a range of facilities not normally offered in hotels of this size. Aside from the private residents' bar, we offer a range of home cooked evening meals using seasonal and local produce to complement the first class breakfast on offer. What's more we can also offer an extensive decked area in the garden which is ideal for barbecues, as well as a luxurious 6 person outdoor spa, again for the exclusive use of our residents.

All our 26 bedrooms are en suite - most with bath and separate shower - and come complete with colour TV and tea and coffee facilities. We can also offer 11 additional bedrooms in our annex, as well as self-contained apartments nearby.
