A great choice for the budget traveler, this clean and comfortable hotel is located superbly just outside the city walls.

Located in central York on Blossom street, Mickelgate the entrance to York City Walls is a stones throw away from you. Also we are just around the corner from York Train Station.

Our rooms are very clean. They are well appointed with all modern amenities, have comfortable beds, clean sheet each day and pleasant furnishings. Although we are perfect for the budget traveler looking for a cheap hotel in York, we are also so much more.

Breakfasts at Premier Inn are legendary. All you can eat in the way of a full English will be available every morning for you. This buffet has a great selection of hot and cold foods for you to set you up right for the day.

Good stuff: All staff very helpfull. Always smiling. Excellent central location in York.

Good stuff: We enjoyed comfortable room and friendly staff service, healthy breakfasts and easy short walking access to the train station and old town centre with so many good eating places.

Bad stuff: Can improve car parking management with better demarcation lines and separating larger vehicles from sedans.

Overall: Good value and friendly customer service at hotel. Interesting historic town centre spiced with good eating places and pubs leaving terrified by the wintry cold nightly ghosts. Easy 45 min car access to beautiful Castle Howard.
