The Encore is the first in what will be a new brand of hotels. It is a very modern hotel build in the millennium with all the modern facilities you would expect. We are a limited service establishment and thus we keep the cost of somewhere to stay in York down to a very reasonable level.
We are one of the most popular places to stay because we are so well located and good value for money. Nothing in the city is very far away from us. Entertainment, history, good food, wines and Ale are all within walking distance. The local pedestrianised city centre shopping precinct is also close by.
Pay to park car parking is available a couple of minutes walk away. We hope you enjoy your stay with us and remember to bring your walking shoes. York is MADE for the pedestrian.

Overall: Overall, very good and convenient for a 2 night stay. Some confusion about the car parking deal - this is probably not a Ramada issue, but many of the signs in the car park say not 24 hour, then there is a 24 hour deal. What about thse staying for 48 hrs or more? Could it be clearer in the hotel that this is allowed and will cost �12 per 24 hour stay? |
