Super setting in the heart centre of York and its historical walls. We are a Victorian town house with 12 ensuite rooms to offer couples and families. All the charm and comforts of home combined with a taste of a bygone age. Fine features combined with modern day living.

We are a non smoking establishment with a license so you can enjoy a relaxed evening in a clean environment. Meet with friends, associates and family. We serve evening meals with a good choice for all diets and requirements.

Good stuff: Within walking distance into town, quiet road, very clean.

Overall: We were most impressed with the owners, nothing was too much trouble and we would recommend this hotel to anyone. The food was well cooked and a very good menu which would suit anybody.

Good stuff: Good Value, Pleasant Staff, Closeness to York Centre, excellent breakfast

Bad stuff: The room we were given-Room 1-was at the front and in consequence, the noise from the road(quite busy) was intrusive and the floolights at the front shone right into the room and did not go out until very late.

Overall: Overall, it represented good value for money and being so close the centre of York was aqaquete for our needs.
