Ate O'Clock Restaurant York

J and K say: We really like this place. It was quite quiet so it felt as if the chef was just cooking for us. The service was good. Definitly going back without hesitation on our next trip to York! P.S. Food is good and well portioned!

Paul & Sarah Green said: We had a gorgeous meal at Ate O'Clock. Lovely, friendly and relaxing atmosphere with a man playing soulful guitar tunes in the background. Food was excellent and service equally fab (was lovely to see the Chef in the restaurant and give him some feedback). My husband had sea bass which was cooked to perfection with olives and sun dried tomatoes. I had a lovely succulent piece of chicken which had a very tasty layered potato gratin with it. Couldn't fault anything! Will definitely go back next time we are in York.

Mandi Hyde sent us this review: Dropped in by chance, found great service, super menu with extra specials, lots to chose from. The white onion soup was delicious, and the "big" chips were to die for... thanks, will definitely be calling again...

Webmasters review: High Ousegate although small is located just outside the Minster. In the last few years a number of good restaurants have opened their doors here. This fact and the well known restaurants and cafes of York in this area do make it a good place to look when you fancy a bite to eat.
