Reviews of Cafe Concerto in High Petergate YorkRussell Butchers wrote in and told us: Always great. Good value and top quality. Good to stop in when its raining for a cake and coffee. Highly recommended. Our review: I have to agree. I have been here a number of times and the food is always good, as it the atmosphere. They have cordial staff who are perhaps not as well trained as they could be, in my opinion. When busy it can be a little difficult to get their attention. FoodThe food here is good. I took a chef friend Mike (waves to Mike if he reads this) from Bournemouth here and he tried the Aberdeen Angus skewers. Although he was not totally satisfied, his only real comment was, "Well, it isn't cooked exactly how I like it." Now from a chef that isn't bad really is it, lets face it. There is generally a fine selection of dishes are available afternoon and evening. The lunch menu has house soups on it. I find these particularly nice with a piece of bread on a lunch time. As winter warmers they hit the spot. PricePrices are reasonable and wont break the bank. For the quality of the food and service it is value for money. Please mention Hotels in York Ltd website when you call. Thanks. Cafe Concerto
