Tremendous surrounding landscape together with massive prospect of walking to your heart's content. Playing golf, doing some fishing plus horseback riding are all to be appreciated in this region. A visit to the close by Castle Howard Estate with its extensive parklands and stylish interior - filled with antiques, fine furnishings, paintings and porcelain makes for a very pleasant afternoon out. Meander through the country lanes until you find a tea house serving afternoon teas.

A 30 minute drive takes you in to York where there are a host of shops, theatres, museums and sights to be explored. A fabulous choice for ramblers, golfers, horse riders and anglers. Fancy a ghost hunt or visit the Psychic Museum commissioned by Jonathan Cainer on Stonegate and be sure to visit the Gothic Cathedral - York Minster. Take in a show at the Grand Opera House and spend the evening in a stylish arena whilst being entertained by first class actors.
