A day out discovering rolling hills and heritage sites will bring you to Spofforth Castle, Ripon Cathedral, Knaresborough Castle and Victorian Viaduct and Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal with ornamental lakes, temples, bridges and cascades - amazing.

Good stuff: Fairly big rooms and nice big bathroom

Bad stuff: I felt the bath and/or shower in the room could have been a lot bigger - a separate shower cubicle and or a larger sized bath/spa bath

Overall: The hotel itself was very clean and tidy. The room again was immaculate. The hotel was clearly marked as to where the Leisure centre, etc was and we found this very helpful. I would have liked to have known that I had to pay £7.50 per day to park in the car park. I think this is disgusting as you are already paying to stay in the hotel and do not see why guests are charged extra to park within the grounds of the hotel. I also felt let down in the standard of the room service. The cost of drinks are not clearly marked on any documents.
