Our location could not be better for a visitor. It gives you good access to historic attractions, splendid parks to walk in and a wonderful theatre packed full of shows, music and conference events. We about 1 minutes walk (110 yards) from the historical Royal Pump Rooms, one of the main attractions in the city. That also makes us well situated for the Valley Gardens which are an equally short distance away. Also just 3 minutes walk to the North is the historic Royal Hall theatre.

While you are staying you must try our renown restaurant for a meal or two. The staff here are well trained and know what it means to be waiting on customers with high expectations like you. They do thier very best to please and a little bit more to make sure you enjoy. The chef has a stunning array of dishes in his repertoire. Yet the ones on offer will be the best of the season with much local produce used. Perfectly cooked the way you want and stunningly presented the way you would expect from a top class establishment.

The town of spas, shopping, festivals and activities awaits your arrival.

Enjoy the surrounding Yorkshire Dales and heritage sites such as Ripon Cathedral, Spoffoth Castle, Knaresborough Castle and Victorian Viaduct, Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal with its ancient temples, bridges, gardens and cascades. Take a breather by the ornamental lakes and admire the sheer elegance of the place.

The Royal Pump Museum and Mercer Art Gallery are worth of your attention as are the gorgeous gardens of Montpellier, The Stray with 200 acres of woodland and open spaces and the Valley Gardens where you can have a game of tennis or a round of mini-golf.

Good stuff: Nice Hotel, Friendly and helpfull staff {Our lost property was returned by post} Food excellent.

Bad stuff: None.

Overall: More infomation needed in rooms concerning check-out and meal times but apart from this a great place to stay.
