Rooms here have modern and pleasant decoration. The large and comfortable beds will made up for you and be changed regularly. We pride ourselves on having a very clean house, just like you would expect in your own home, if you had someone to clean and tidy for you.

Staff here are very happy to share their own experiences of life in York with you. They will be glad to offer suggestions for where to dine and of course where not to dine as well. If we know, then we will tell you our honest opinion. That way you too will have a great meal out as we have done times before at the good places, of which there are plenty.

On a morning you can rise and shine with no worry about having to prepare breakfast. We do it all for you and serve it piping hot to your table. Thats the way to start your day! We are also very happy to offer a great alternative for vegetarians.

We are located on a secluded street that is full of pleasant terrace houses most of which are used by local residents has homes. For you this means one thing, a great night sleep as it is a very quiet area. Yes you can hear the neighbours through the walls when they have a row but, 99% of the time this doesn't happen.

We are also quite close to the very centre of the city. That is, we are 0.9 miles / 1.5 kilometres away from the main shopping street, Coney Street. That will take you approximately 20 minutes for you to walk. Along the way you will find; many lovely little streets, pass near to Melton's one of York best restaurants on Nunnery Lane, pass under the Walls of York, pass by a great local pub called the Golden Ball, cross over the River Ouse and then on to shop until you drop.

You can also walk a little further on to York Minster in all its Gothic glory. Total distance there from us is about 1.1 mi / 1.8 km which will take you somewhere around 25 minutes to walk.
