We are a short distance from the city walls which will take you about 6 minutes to walk. Alternativly, one minutes walk up the road will take you to the bus stops just outside. From here there are a good number of regular services to take you into and out of the centre.

We offer you really good value clean rooms to spend the night in. Decorated in a classic b and b style you will feel very welcome staying with us. The owner and staff herer are top notch. Sparkling clean each day your rooms are very well kept indeed. Not only that but your hosts are always willing to help you with some friendly local advise. Guests often comment that they feel like they have been staying with some friends and that is exactly how we want you to feel as well.

Also it is very simple to get into and out of the very centre of town. Consise directions from Cliffords Tower (the old keep of York Castle) follow. From the bottom of the steps that lkead up to Cliffords Tower turn right. Pass by the York Castle Museum and Crown Court Buildings on your left, with the Tower on your right to arrive at the juction with the aptly named Tower Street.

Keep left around the roundabout and cross over the River Foss on the road bridge. Follow the York Walls up to the corner. Leave the walls behind crossing over Paragon Street carefully using the pedestrian crossing.

Continue strait up the road passing strait by all the small shops on your right. Strait on also take you passed the Mecca Bingo complex on your right. As the road veers around to the left we are just up here on your left look out for the signage.
