Good stuff: It was clean and comfortable. Also, the availability of tea making facilities.

Bad stuff: The noise from a fan (extractor fan possibly) coming from outside and below the room. From a privacy point of view, I would prefer to see a door rather than the Wild West swing doors separating the bathroom from the bedroom.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: It was a pleasure to see the hotel using locally employed staff which I believe is extremely important for the local population especially where a hotel is situated outside a town/city. It would have been helpful to view the room and its location in the building over the internet.

Good stuff: The hotel is absolutley beautiful from the outside, and the grounds are stunning. The inside of the hotel was equally as impressive. There were lovely fresh flowers in the reception and the room was excellent

Bad stuff: Absolutley nothing

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I booked the hotel as a surprise for our wedding anniversary and couldnt have been more pleased when we arrived. The approach to the hotel had a very grand and impressive feel, which was continued on throughout, the dining room and breakfast were excellent. The room was fantastic and the staff were polite, friendly and professional. I couldnt have chosen a better hotel, we had a fantastic stay. I would recommend The Parsonage Hotel to any of my Family and friends, and we will definatley be returning!!!

Good stuff: the location is great nice and quiet.the bedroom was very clean and tidy as was the bathroom.breakfast was very good,everything laid out very neatly.

Good stuff: Absolutely everything

Bad stuff: The only item we could think of was the provision of a travel iron in the room to press shirts, blouses etc

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Just seeing the hotel from the outside caused quite a 'wow' factor and this was carried on throughout our stay. The room, cleanliness of the hotel, helpfullness of the staff, quality of the meals. We could find nothing to fault

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: From the moment we arrived at through the car park we decided that we had made the right choice. There was a porter waiting to take our bags and they showed us around our room and how everything worked etc. The room was spacious and clean. The bar and restaurant were fantastic and they served beautiful food throughout the day, and the breakfasts were just as nice. I liked the small touches such as people running from reception to open the doors for you as you came and went, being called sir and madam, and the silver service in the restaurant. When we plan our visit next year, we most definately will want to stay there again.
