Premier Inn North York Clifton Park Avenue

Well placed in a quiet area about 1.5 miles North-West of Bootham Bar, the NW entrance to the city walls, off the A19 going to Thirsk. We are quite easy to find by car and have good buses running regularly into York on the Skipton Road.

You will know what to expect here in your rooms. Simply furnished, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. The price of rooms here will always give you value for your money. It is what we are known for and we will, as a well known highwayman once said, "Stand and deliver!" for you. The standing is of course optional here.

Our location is a super one outside of the city just off the Shipton Road (A19). You are however nicely set back away from the traffic noise in a secluded area behind a copse of lush deciduous green trees and bushes. There is also a nice public house just near us too in which you can get a real feel for real York. This area (Clifton Park) has good access to and from it. The small hospital down the bottom in a converted church and offices further back from the road lay testament to this.

Finding us by road is simple. Follow York outer ring road around until you see signs at a roundabout for (A19) Thirsk, Skipton, Skelton and a brown sign for Beningbrough Hall to your left do NOT take this road. Instead go into the city of York off this roundabout at the sign for York, Clifton, Rawcliffe for which you will need to be in the right hand lane entering the roundabout. Continue down the a19 Skipton Road into York passing by the Rawcliffe Park and Ride on your right. Continue along here until you see a sign for our hotel and then turn right onto Clifton Park Avenue. A short way along this lovely tree lined avenue there is a mini roundabout and another sign pointing to us.
