St Denys was originally the rectory of the ancient parish church of St Deny's. So you can enjoy all the modern comforts in this lovely hotel, knowing that many of the surrounding buildings are steeped in history dating back to the twelfth century.

We offer a choice of rooms, from single, double and family rooms, as well as our Jorvik Suite. All the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with en suite facilities, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone. The suite also offers the added appeal of a four poster bed.

In the Morning there's a delicious English breakfast to set you up for the day, and a licensed bar for residents to relax in after a hard day of exploring all the sights of York and the surrounding countryside. We've also opened Craig's Den within the hotel, offering fabulous dining in terrific for both residents and non residents alike.
