Looking out of our windows you will see a fabulous golf course and greenscape before you. You will be set in an enlightening environment filled with classic design in addition to decor accentuating present day ensuite rooms here.

Set in beautiful parkland and with an 18 hole par 71 Golf Course to look over, the views from our rooms are very pleasing to the eye. Gorgeous gardens where you can stroll and a super spa complex where you can tone up, revive and relax your mind, body and soul.

The design of the rooms here is made to highlight the age when the Manor was built. In some of our rooms it is like a timeless zone here with all update to modern facilities available, yet tucked away form you until you really need them. In others you are in modern decor and the comfort of your surrounds is easy to see. Just have a look at the room photos below to see what we mean by this.

If you want to visit some of our lovely Yorkshire villages you wont go wrong staying here. We are 2.5 miles North-East of both Little Ouseburn and Great Ouseburn. Linton on Ouse and the R.A.F. bases of the same name are about 3 miles away this time to the South East of us.

We are also very well situated in between the town of Harrogate and the City of York. That means staying here you will be well placed to enjoy the sights and social scene of both.

So while here why not go on a visit to the gateway to the dales? Harrogate is wonderful for exclusive shopping. It is located only 27 minutes (15.2 miles) from us here. Enjoy the renown Flower Shows and its amazing International Centre which seats over 2000 people in its auditorium. With its 7 exhibition halls and of course the Royal Hall, there is always going to be plenty to do and see for you here. Harrogate is also well known for its many Spas. Enjoy the Sulphur Springs at the Royal Pump House Museum. Close by you'll find Knaresborough Castle and Courthouse Museum and be sure to visit St Robert's Cave.

Venture a few miles, you are in to York. More precisely we are located around 10 miles away from this wonderful historic city. Here you will be met by a host of sights, shopping and places to spend time. Famous shopping streets are Coney, Spurriergate and Parliament Street which run through the heart of the city. All these are filled with gifts stores, lingerie, accessory, fashion houses, mainstream stores and books, speciality foods and chocolate shops. An abundance of theatres showing the latest show.

Good stuff: The area in which the hotel is situate is beautiful. In the middle of nowhere really! The restaurant is very good and the health club was very nice.

Bad stuff: The rooms which are booked on a budget basis ie: probably through yourselves are in the top of the modern part of the hotel. They are extremely good rooms, however they only have a skylight not a proper window, which was a bit disappointing as the views are fantastic. This should perhaps be pointed out.

Overall: The hotel, as expected from this chain, was excellent. The leisure facilities are good, very clean and well kept. The restaurant, whilst al a carte prices was fabulous. Definitely stay again, but would upgrade as the cheaper rooms have a skylight, not a full window.

Good stuff: The restaurant and food were first class. The leisure facilites were excellent too. Very clean hotel with excellent service. We had a really enjoyable stay.

Bad stuff: Nothing, it was all brilliant.
