Well situated this luxury hotel is only 5 minutes walk from Micklegate Bar, which is the Royal entrance to the city walls. Splendid, well kept, spacious, luxury rooms are just a few clicks away. A lovely romantic meal is the order of the day here. Well placed it is easy to get to and from the train station and the centre of town.

Just outside the city walls you couldn't ask for a better situation to stay in while you visit. In fact you are so close to the walls you will be able to see them as you come out of the front door, turning right. Micklegate Bar is in front of you and this is where your journey through history starts.

Rooms here are kept to pristine standards. Each has a fantastic, snug, big bed for you to sleep well in. The design has an air of France about it which you might enjoy in the heart of Yorkshire.

However, not only is it the rooms that are lovely here. The lounge areas are also very comfortable to spend some time planning your trip. Also the bar has the bonus of friendly and knowledgeable team of staff.

Located only 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Getting to us from there is simple following this detailed guide. Come out of the front door of the station and turn right onto Station Road. Walk up here and note the Fleetways taxi office on your right this is a good local firm to use. Veer around to the left until you come to Blossom Street traffic lights where you turn right.
