Our position in Bootham Crescent is perfect for visitors. We are 700 yards (10 minutes on foot) away from York Art Gallery to your right as you approach Bootham Bar. This Bar is one of the 4 main gates or fortified entrances to the famous medieval York City walls.

Just a little further walking through the walls, along the road called High Petergate you get to the Minster and Stonegate. All 4 of the above are must see attractions in the city and, well, you are basically on top of the staying here with us. Another way you can tell that this is a great location is as you arrive. You will see the terrace street is full of b&b establishments all the way up. Must be good for some many of us to be here!

The rooms we have on offer for you are really comfortable ones. They are designed with you in mind by the owners and kept clean and gleaming by them and staff. The ensuite shower and bath rooms are especially nice. We aim to make this homely style accommodation to your liking all the way through.

Breakfast here is cooked to order. As you sit down in the quite spacious dining area we take your order. Then not long after you are served with a smile. A nice hot Yorkshire fry up is yours for the asking. As is a simple coffee if thats what is required.
