Park Inn by Radisson York North Street Online Booking
A good number of large rooms, inexpensive, clean, professional staff right in the centre of the city. Everything you could want from a modern hotel and in a superb position for a day or night out with a mate. or 2 mates, or 20 of them!
This large city centre hotel has been a closely guarded secret for some time now. If you want somewhere quiet right in the centre of town this is the right place, For the younger element Yorks nightlife is all around you. We are surrounded by fabulous restaurants, cafes, clubs and public houses. Yet we are tucked away down a quiet street so you will still get a great nights sleep here.
We are a modern hotel with views over the river and from top floors, York Minster itself. In the perfect location for a trip to visit the medieval Shambles or the famous viking exhibitions and excavations in the city. Our in house restaurant called, the waterside, is perfect for relaxing after a hard days exploring. Its varied menu means you should be able to find something you like. Riverside views are available from many of the tables. No matter why you visit our lovely medieval city we are sure you will not be disappointed when you choose to stay with us.
A great location by the river right in the city centre. This is in the ideal location for a young couple or even a large group to stay as we have lots of rooms.
How well positioned are we? You decide. We are 7 minutes walk from the train station. 9 Minutes the other way (Northeast) will get you to the Shambles. 10 minutes (about 0.5 of a mile) North is York Minster. So, thats pretty central then.
To find us from the train station walk out of the front and turn left onto Station Road. Walk strait along here passing the Memorial Gardens on your left to go under a large gap in the city walls. Cross strait over the junction here at the lights. Go left and downward, not across the bridge, but down along Tanner Moat, keeping Lendal Bridge on your left.
At the end of this little road turn right. Don't go under the bridge. Walk strait up here following the pedestrian signs for South Bank and Bishopthorpe. Walk along what is Wellington Street and you will see the River Ouse appear on your left. Continue along what will turn into North Street and you will see the large building on your left that is us. Welcome!

Rating of 3.86 out of 5 Unique ID (1408599) Good stuff: excellent breakfast, good view over river to minster Bad stuff: Check in staff poorly descibed parking facilities, seemed initially uninclined to explain further, final explanation was in fact misleading parking was 10 not 20 as advised. Overall: Overall very happy, good value for money most staff very helpfull, other than the checkin which although confusing was carried out to my satisfaction, I would book here again without a doubt. |
