Mason's Arms York Masons Arms in Fishergate York

Been here a good few times always a nice meal and a good pint. Management has changed a few times over the years but that doesnt take away the atmosphere. Always nice folks running the place.

The Masons Arms is a great place if you like good food and a good beer. In winter it has an open fireplace which is very warming. I personally spent quite some time here over lunch as I had an office next door in the fishgate center when I first opened up for business. Good place for a meal and a quick get away.

Dave Williams emailed us saying : My family and I spent some time in June 2004 in York and eat at the Masons on two occasions, the food was first class not the usual frozen pub food. We had two girls aged 10 and 12 years they were allowed in until 9.30pm. All the staff were great and the Black Sheep Ale.

This place had the best pub food in all of England. Have recommended it to others and they agreed. Visited there in 1998 while son was teaching in Bilsborrow.
