  • Any sunny day - Walk the walls with the York Walls Walk
  • First Weekend in June - The the perfect start to the Yorkshire summer starts in the first weekend in June as as York Carnival comes to the city. A parade runs from the Museum Gardens to the centre of town. Entertainment from University of York, local groups, local schools takes place along Parliament Street and around the city centre. Join us to enjoy bands, workshops and splendid fun activities for all the family.
  • Early to Mid July - York Early Music Summer Festival. Music from the past comes to life with several concerts around the city to enjoy. Early booking of tickets is recommended as the last few years concerts have sold out quickly.
