Guest Book for York

Well I went through some old stuff and found I had a guest book online in 2001. After much thought i decided that I think it is a good idea to get you guys to tell me what you think about the site and how it could be improved maybe. If you want to leave a comment please do so by email to kevin@york-united-kingdom.co.uk or use the form on this page. I look forward to reading your comments and choosing some good ones to publish here. Just a BTW if it is witty or QI (quite interesting) it will probably go up if it is rude, it wont.

In 2006 we are planning to extend our guest book. This extension is to provide more information about your trip to our fine city. The travelogue section can include details of what you have seen while you were here including photographs. The point of this will be to help others who are thinking about coming to get an idea of what to do and see. It will also be a good record for you to show to your friends and family for years to come. To enquire about the publication of your travels in York and Yorkshire please email kevin@york-united-kingdom.co.uk

I fell in love with York. To me it is the most remarkable place I have been to and I have been all over the world. From the old world feel to the very nice people I can't imagine a better place. If I were a millionaire I would relocate there in a heartbeat.

Question: When was this website made?
Answer from webmaster: This website was started in April 2001 or there about. The reason for it being started is when you looked for York all you got was New York in major search engines. Well I know my city and although York is only small, it thrives on tourism. So, I set out to create what would be a tourist brochure online that could be found when looking for York. Today we have a team of 12 researchers and writers that are working on the network.

My wife and daughter visited England and included your beautiful city. We had been to Leeds because our trip included lodging in Leeds. We only stayed one night. A man on the boat on the BROADS, was surprised. He said, LEEDS, THAT IS NOT A TOURIST CITY!!! My wife of 61 years come August 30, is a descendent of Vikings. Name was Lundgren. Also descended from the Walloons of Belgium. The Pierrous who were excellent iron workers and were induced to go to Sweden to manage their iron industry around Geffle on the east side of Sweden. We visited there once.
