Kennedys York Kennedys Cafe Bar and Restaurant in Stonegate York - ReviewsGordon tells us: I had the best gammon steak ever at Kennedy's. Absolutely fantastic, the chef deserves an award of some kind because it was so good. Jim Astbury emailed us saying: This cafe bar is one that definitely deserves a mention or two. Kennedy's boasts 3 levels, including a conservatory, a well lit sun terrace, main bar and even a basement dance bar. Keep up the good work Kennedys!! Trouble free late night venueIt's also the only "nice, trouble free" venue in York's old quarter with a free or charge late license - Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun...which means no more blood-shed for accidentally smiling in the wrong direction on Micklegate twinned with the loss of extortionate sums of money to enter one of the badly lit, ludicrously over priced, guaranteed a fight - nightclubs - we're sadly cursed with in this city. FoodThe food is great value too, with an excellent wine list and regular specials ...All up I'd recommend this place to anyone, even the wife loves it and if you can please her, then you must be doing something right! Webmasters review: Having been here a few times myself have to agree with most of what Jim said. The place is quite chilled and nice for a drink on an evening, as a couple or with a few friends. I have always enjoyed it. Please mention Hotels in York Ltd website when you call. Thanks. Kennedys
