Just been down to York for a few days and found, by chance, Oscar's Wine Bar and Bistro. We went twice and both times it was exceptional. The food was excellent, and the house wine beautiful. We sat inside, but outside was just lovely. Finding Oscar's made our holiday, we couldn't recommend it enough.

Oscar's, is near Stonegate,York. The quality of the food here is always good and is a firm favourite with both tourists and residents of York. The style of the interior creates a warm and modern atmosphere. The menu is varied and offers both traditional and worldwide cuisine. The size of the portions and quality of food offers good value for money. Oscar's is a great place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon or to act as a meeting place for friends before a night out around the city bars. It is also very friendly to families. Overall a great place to visit and highly recommended.
