The Seahorse Hotel in York England - ReviewsKevin Ireson says: The location of this traditional inn makes it something special. Also, being as they serve Sam Smiths, it makes for a cheap night out. Having a drink here is a comfortable experience. It does get quite full on a weekend. However, it is far enough away from the melee of weekend drinkers in town to be pleasant. Worth a try in my opinion. Gary Hingley tells us: The Seahorse Hotel is on Fawcett Street, 100 yards outside the city walls. This is a Sam Smiths establishment and so offers real value for money for real ale and lager drinkers. The pub has its own private car park. Also with it being so close to the city walls, the stroll into the town centre is less than 10 minutes. This makes it a great place to be start when you want to discover York's variety of hostelries. The landlord and his wife are very friendly as are the locals who's company we enjoyed at the inn. I highly recommend this lovely traditional pub. Please mention Hotels in York Ltd website when you call them. Thanks. The Seahorse
